The name Sauce Ondulee translates from French to Wavy Sauce. The inspiration is actually a long story. Initially the butter was intended to be designed as a pomade but after much research, it was determined it was best suited for use as a butter. After some digging and considering over 40 names it was discovered than the Wavy in French is Ondulée. Which was a pleasant surprise as my son's name shares some of the same letters. Additionally many of the ingredients are edible in the same order and the rest is history.

We do as much as we can to create a sustainable product. This is why we use containers which are either biodegradable or recyclable. Our personal health and well being is tied directly to the health of the planet.

Sauce is artisan made in Jamaica Queens New York. We hope that you enjoy using this butter and look forward to communicating along our journey together.
